MISSION DISCOVERY A-PLUS SUMMER CAMP

Teachers for the program are Navasota High School students or recent NHS graduates. These students have been doing an amazing job mentoring and giving back to our younger NISD students. This program is being led by Lauren Musick, 5th grade science teacher at Webb Elementary.

A special thank you to Texas A&M University and iEducate for program funding and curriculum. Another special thank you to Navasota ISD for hosting our program.

A-PLUS stands for Accelerated Preparation of Leaders for Underserved Schools. A-PLUS is a graduate level program at Texas A&M University whose goal is to develop current classroom teachers into culturally responsive educational leaders. It is a federally funded grant program made possible by the U.S. Department of Education.
