NISD School Bus involved in minor accident

A Navasota ISD school bus was involved in an accident this afternoon as it was leaving High Point Elementary for afternoon drop off at Highway 105 and CR 234. All students and personnel onboard have been checked by local EMS and have been cleared with no major injuries. Thank you to our staff and local emergency personnel for your assistance.

BAND STUDENTS JOIN AGGIE BAND

Congratulations to these Rattler Band students who will be joining the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band this fall. Corina Deleon and Alexis Coronilla have been a part of the Navasota Band Program for 6 years. Joining them for the event today were former Rattler Band Students, Elizabeth Price and Josh Glaesmann who are current members of the Aggie Band as well as the entire Navasota High School Band. We are proud of these students and wish them well.

RETIRED TEACHERS AWARD SCHOLARSHIP

Grimes County Retired Teachers Association awarded a scholarship to Missy Stegint for her continuing education. Missy is a current employee of NISD and plans to pursue her teaching degree. Congratulations Missy!

Community and Student Engagement Rating Opens on Monday, May 1st

To the Navasota ISD Community:
Texas law now requires that each district evaluate itself and each of its campuses on programs that are not being reflected on the state’s accountability system. The online evaluation tool, CASE Solved, will help give recognition to the great things that are taking place in public schools and assist in collecting feedback from the community and students on various programs.
