The Big Blue jumped to an early 5-0 lead and held Salado scoreless for the first 5 minutes of the gameand extended their lead to 13-7 after one quarter. The Rattlers led 23-10 at half and then went on a 9-0 run to start the second half to put the game out of reach.
Eight players scored for the Rattlers led by Ke'aundra Eddings with 19. Amya Thomas had 11, Savannah Stringfellow 9, Kaliah Bookman 7, Malaiya Jedkins 4, Katy Dockery 3 while  Sha'Diamon King, Alyssia Thomas and Talia Griffin each scored 2.
Navasota dominated in the rebound department 49-20.  The Rattlers had a season high 26 offensive boards. Alyssia Thomas pulled down 9 boards, Kaliah Bookman, Katy Dockery and Amya Thomas each grabbed 6.
Ke'aundra Eddings had 6 assists and 7 steals. Amya Thomas forced 7 Salado turnovers while Malaiya Jedkins and Alyssia Thomas each had 6 steals.
The Rattlers shot 37% from the floor while Salado connected on just 24%.  . 
The win improves Navasota's season record to 34-3.  It extends their winning streak to 22 games.
They now advance to the Area round of the playoffs.  They will face the Fairfield Eagles. That game will be played this Friday back at Bremond High School.  Tip off is set for 6:00 pm
