Facilities Planning Advisory Committee

In the fall of 2013, Navasota ISD initiated a Facilities Planning Committee to implement a new facilities plan.  This Committee consisted of approximately 50 Navasota Independent School District citizens who met over the past three months to discuss strategies and options related to a short and long-term facilities plan.  The goal of the Committee was to develop consensus on strategies and options and to present these findings to the Navasota ISD School Board.  Based on the information presented regarding condition of existing facilities, safety and security and the current capacity of the facilities, the final options discussed in this report are based on the direction that needs will be prioritized in three major topics; Safety and Security improvements, Instructional Spaces/Programs improvements, and Technology infrastructure improvements.
